Zend PHP Cert Reaches 500 Mark

6/20/2005 -- Zend launched the ZCE in August. According to the company, the title is designed to certify the skills of Web application developers working with PHP 4 technologies.

PHP is an open-source server-side HTML embedded scripting language. Zend offers Web application platform products and services for PHP applications.

A list of those holding the ZCE can be found on Zend's Web site, here.

The company also announced that the title's one exam, #200-100: Zend PHP Certification Exam, is now available in Japanese and German, as well as English. The exam can be taken at Pearson Vue testing centers worldwide for $200 (U.S.). Objectives can be found here. The company offers optional training for the title.
