5/25/2005 -- Prosoft Learning Corporation has announced that it will be releasing updated versions of two Certified Internet Web Professional (formerly Certified Internet Webmaster) exams later this year: CIW Site Designer 5 and CIW E-Commerce Designer 5.

The company updated its core CIW Foundations exam to version 5 in November.

Site Designer counts toward the company's Master CIW Designer and Master CIW Web Site Manager titles, and E-Commerce Designer 5 counts toward the company's Master CIW Designer; both can be used to earn the CIW Professional title.

Live dates for the new exams have yet to be announced; the company said only that they will debut in "late 2005." Courseware for the exams will be released this month.

Prosoft changed the name of its CIW program from Certified Internet Webmaster to Certified Internet Web Professional late last year.
