Cisco Storage Certs Now Count Toward SNIA Title

9/27/2006 -- Cisco Systems announced today that two of its storage-related Qualified Specialist certifications now count toward the vendor-neutral Storage Networking Industry Association's flagship Certified Storage Network Expert (SCSN-E) title.

The highest level title in the SNIA's certification lineup requires candidates to pass up to three SNIA exams plus earn at least one storage-related vendor credential from EMC, McData and others.

Now, candidates who hold Cisco's Cisco Storage Networking Design Specialist or Cisco Storage Networking Support Specialist can apply those certifications toward the SCSN-E.
