Oracle Beta Dates Announced


8/15/2001 -- Oracle has announced the dates for its upcoming 9i beta exams.

According to the Oracle Web site, the following 9i exams will be available at these times:

1Z1-007 Introduction to Oracle 9i: SQL Aug. 8 - Sept. 28 Click here.
1Z1-030 Oracle 9i Database: New Features for Administrators (8i Upgrade Exam) Sept. 17 - Oct. 19 Click here.
1Z1-031 Oracle 9i Database: Fundamentals I Sept. 17 - Oct. 19 Click here.
1Z1-032 Oracle 9i Database: Fundamentals II Sept. 17 - Oct. 19 Click here.
1Z1-033 Oracle 9i Database: Performance Tuning November 2001 Click here.

Each exam will be offered at a discounted price of $50 (U.S.). Registration is available through Prometric centers worldwide. Passed exams will count toward certification.

7/19/02: tutu from new york says: I have worked on so far oracle 7/8/9 and now i want to have my certificate. Should i just get 9i or get 8i and upgrade it to 9i, which is better?
