2/17/04: Pissed off Indian. from NYC says: WOW! so much hate. All you people should grow up. Stop being jealous. Pissed off Indian.
2/17/04: Jiffy McSpliff says: Al-Qa'ida plot??? Last time I checked, they weren't very fond of India either.... Anon 2/17/04, get the facts before you spout your hateful rhetoric.
2/17/04: Anonymous says: Why didn't Oracle offer them to us at half price during the US tech boom?
2/18/04: jaarin96 from Texas says: We're not jealous pissed off Indian. I have nothing against India or Indian workers. But I do have something against US Corporations selling short US IT workers, by outsourcing, making more profit, paying 0 taxes, and reimporting a product that is NOT even cheaper to US Consumers. Exactly what benefit is there to me a US consumer to have business with a company that pays Indian workers 80% less, doesn't sell their stuff cheaper, pays no tax and doesn't create any US jobs? We lost over 2 MILLION jobs under Dubwya. I went to serve in Enduring Freedom and my job disappeared to India? Wait till India gets too expensive and they relocate say to Bangla Desh. I bet a lot of Indian IT workers will cry foul then. No US tax dollars should go to improving Indian (IT) Infrastructure when we have chronic un and under employment in the US high tech sector Next you will tell me the H-1B visa for foreign IT workers was necessary, because US workers are not as smart as Indians. What the heck reason do you have to be pissed off exactly? Was your job outsourced to the US and you can't get it back? namaste
2/28/04: R Arun Shiam Kumar from India says: Frankly speaking, what all the many of the members of the forum have said, is just crap... Considering the economic factors, and considering the normalised value of a rupee to compare to that of a dollar or a pound, i think what oracle has done is quite welcomable...i am not saying this just because i am an Indian... Had this been done to some other country which is economically below India, i would certaily have appreciated it...
2/29/04: eapen from kerala says: i want to know about ur offer
2/29/04: Srini from Delhi says: Hey Guys!!! Chill out...This damn certification is just crap.....Become a brand yourself....Dont depend on other brands....frankly speaking I am good at Oracle but I do not feel the need to get certified.....Think on similar lines....and you will have a good night's sleep...thinking of larger useless issues will only drive you to smoking, alcohol or drugs...and you Oracle guys do not want to end up in REHAB do you????
3/3/04: Prattibha from Mumbai says: I want to know aboot OCP 9i exams Prometric centers in india(Mumbai) .
3/3/04: Subir from India says: Dear jarrin! you can't have the cake and eat it too! US cries "free economy" "free trade" the world over but look where its hurting you at home! All these time US was a champion of "free economy" now that things are getting reversed you are trying to behave/crying like a poor third world country!!
3/7/04: Anonymous says: All the best braindump sites are in India so they should get them half price.
