Sun Announces Solaris 8 Exam Dates


11/15/2000 -- Sun Microsystems announced recently that Solaris 8 System and Network Administrator certification exams will be available starting in January 2001.

According to the Sun Web site (http://www.sun.com), there will be a two-part System Administrator exam, a single Network Administrator exam, and a new Upgrade exam for those certified in a previous version of Solaris.

Instructor-led courses for these exams have been available since June 2000. CD-ROM and Web-based courses are expected shortly.
