Citrix Announces 'Access' Track Timeframe

10/17/2005 -- Citrix Systems recently posted a general schedule for releasing new Access Gateway and Access Suite 4.0 certifications on its Web site.

The new Citrix Certified Administrator (CCA) Access Gateway track exam will launch by the end of this year. The company announced the new title in May.

Currently, the CCA is available in two tracks -- Presentation Server 4.0 and Password Manager 4.0 -- exams for both of which went live in August.

The company's higher-level Citrix Certified Enterprise Administrator (CCEA) and Citrix Certified Integration Architect (CCIA) remain focused on the entire Access Suite, currently at version 3.0. According to the Citrix Web site, the new CCEA and CCIA Access Suite 4.0 exams will launch by mid-2006.
