Microsoft Delays 70-293, 70-294 Sim Exams to August
6/20/2005 -- According to MCPmag.com, Microsoft will be delaying the release of the simulation version of two exams—70-293, Planning and Maintaining a Windows Server 2003 Network Infrastructure, and 70-294, Planning, Implementing, and Maintaining a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Active Directory Infrastructure—until August.
The exams were supposed to debut next week.
The company delayed their release in order to release all language versions at the same time, said Program Manager Keith Loeber at the company's TechEd Conference in Orlando earlier this month.
"We're working with our test providers to ensure a smoother rollout [in August]," he said.
The first two exams to feature the new simulation questions—70-290, Managing and Maintaining a Windows Server 2003 Environment, and 70-291, Implementing, Managing, and Maintaining a Windows Server 2003 Network Infrastructure—went live in April.
Loeber also confirmed to MCPmag.com that exams for SQL Server and Visual Studio are expected to be released soon after the release of the respective products later this year.
