CompTIA Extends Linux+ Beta


12/8/2004 -- The Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA) recently announced that it will be extending its discounted Linux+ beta through the end of the year.

The beta (# XK1-002), which debuted in October, is currently available through Prometric and Pearson Vue testing centers for $75 (U.S.). Detailed objectives are available here. Those who pass the beta version will receive credit toward certification.

A live date for the new exam has yet to be announced.
