EXCLUSIVE: Sun Developing Solaris Security Cert
10/9/2002 -- In an recent interview with CertCities.com, Sun Microsystems' Worldwide Certification Manager Rick Bunzel said that the company plans to release a Solaris 9-related security exam and corresponding title in spring 2003.
This will be the first security-focused certification from Sun. According to Bunzel, the name of the certification has yet to be decided.
Bunzel said that the company is also considering adding other security-related exams and/or certifications in its Java, Sun ONE and storage tracks, but was not ready to release further details at this time.
