FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
CERTCITIES.COM OFFERS IT PROFESSIONALS THE MOST COMPREHENSIVE CERTIFICATION SITE IN THE INDUSTRY
Ultimate Online Information Technology Resource Covers Over 80 Certifications

Irvine, CA, November 13, 2000 - 101communications LLC today announced the launch of CertCities.com, a comprehensive new Web site dedicated to news, issues and technologies relevant to IT certification. The site has been designed and produced by the same team that has published the highly successful Microsoft Certified Professional Magazine and its affiliated Web site, mcpmag.com, for the past six years.

An industry first, CertCities.com covers more than 80 IT certifications including Cisco, Java, Linux, Microsoft, Novell, Oracle and Unix. In addition to comprehensive lists of exams by vendor and topic, the site features daily news, exam reviews, salary surveys, discussion forums, career information, pop quizzes and a wide range of technical articles for IT professionals.

"We wanted to create a dynamic and interactive Web community for IT professionals to exchange information and ideas," said Becky Nagel, Web editor of CertCities.com. "CertCities gives visitors a forum to ask questions of their peers, chat with experts, share experiences and solve workplace challenges. We've modeled it after our success addressing the certification community with Microsoft Certified Professional Magazine."

According to industry projections, there are currently well over one million certified IT professionals worldwide. In the past several years, certification has come to be regarded as a necessary part of a career in information technology. Certification is not only for newcomers to the industry - rather, many experienced programmers and network administrators are earning certifications to strengthen their resumes and job potential. CertCities.com recognizes that fact by including in-depth information, columns, and product reviews that go beyond certification and address the day-to-day realities of an IT professional's job.

CertCities.com has been added to 101communications' growing network of print and online publications focused on IT certification including Microsoft Certified Professional Magazine, MCPmag.com, TCPmag.com and OfficeCert.com.
