Best of luck to you, indeed. I've been looking for an entry level job for a year.
I have A+, Net+, and MCDST and have not even been able to give my time away (work for free). The worst part is when I do occaisionally get a call about a job that is 100% entry level and then get asked about actual job experience. When I told one "recruiter" that I had no actual on-the-job experience, the reply was an incredulous "But you have all these certifications..." Frustrating? You bet.
IT is in such bad shape that I think employers will find experienced people to take even the entry level positions. So, yeah, good luck.

The first job is always the hardest. Chris, don't lose faith - you've got exactly what you need, certification-wise, to make you stand out exactly as much as you need to. If nothing changes for you, I'd recommend you have someone evaluate your resume, interview style, and/or salary requirements.
