IBM Releases New Tivoli, iSeries Certs

5/16/2005 -- This month IBM is adding two updated credentials to its certification lineup.

The first, IBM Certified Deployment Professional: Tivoli Federated Identity Manager 6.0, consists of passing one exam, IBM Tivoli Federated Identity Manager 6.0 Implementation (#875). The exam consists of 72 questions and requires a 61 percent pass rate. For more information on this title, go here.

IBM is also releasing IBM Certified Specialist: eServer i5 iSeries RPG ILE Programmer. This title replaces two AS/400 certifications that were retired this month:

IBM Certified Specialist: AS/400 RPG IV Programmer (#266)
IBM Certified Specialist: AS/400 RPG IV Developer (#267)

To earn the title, candidates must pass one exam: eServer i5 iSeries RPG ILE Programmer (#268), which consists of 92 questions and a passing score of 69 percent.

IBM exams are available at Pearson Vue and Prometric testing centers worldwide.
