12/15/2004 -- Today IBM announced that it will launch a new Tivoli certification and update other Tivoli titles for 2005.

The new Tivoli title -- IBM Advanced Deployment Professional: Provisioning Management Solutions 2005 -- will debut "by the end of December," as will 2005 updates of the Advanced Deployment Enterprise, Security and Storage Management Tivoli credentials, the company said in an e-mail announcement.

Updates of the company's Certified Deployment Professional: Tivoli Storage Manager and IBM Certified Deployment Professional: Tivoli Configuration Manager are scheduled to debut around the same time.

Details on the new certifications and updates should be posted on IBM's Web site shortly.
