Citrix Announces CCA, CCEA Exam Retirements

11/17/2004 -- Citrix Systems recently announced that it will be retiring four exams from its certification program on Jan. 15, 2005.

The official retirement means that the exams will no longer count toward any Citrix certification. "Candidates will need to meet the most up-to-date requirements in order to maintain their certification status," the company said.

The exams are:

  • 218 Citrix MetaFrame 1.8
  • 910 Citrix Resource Management Services
  • 920 Citrix Installation Management Services
  • 930 Citrix Secure ICA/Security

The exams applied toward Citrix's Certified Administrator (CCA) and Certified Enterprise Administrator (CCEA) titles. According to Citrix's Web site, most appeared to have been released in 1999 or 2000.
