10/20/2004 -- IBM recently added two On Demand Business certifications to its credential roster.

The new titles are:

• IBM Certified for On Demand Business: Solution Advisor
• IBM Certified for On Demand Business: Solution Designer

Both require passing one exam: 816 for Advisor, and 817 for Designer.

The new titles replace the company's former IBM Certified for e-business, Solution Technologist credentials. The company recommends that Solution Technologists in sales roles pursue the new Advisor title, and that IT professionals should pursue the new Designer title.
