Vue To Offer Cisco Exams By End of 2000
10/1/2000 -- Vue Testing Centers, a division of NCS Pearson, announced last week that it will begin delivery of Cisco career certification exams by the end of 2000.
Previously, these exams were available only through Sylvan-Prometric. This deal will allow Cisco candidates to choose either of the major test vendors for their exams.
Under the Vue agreement, Cisco will use the Internet-based Vue test delivery system to deliver its exams to Vue's 2400 testing centers worldwide.
In a printed statement, Tom Kelly, Cisco's vice president of worldwide training, said of the deal, "Contracting with Vue provides a greater number of testing centers and available test seats worldwide for individuals preparing for Cisco career certifications and Cisco channel specializations." - B.N.
