Altova Launches XML Cert

8/11/2004 -- Yesterday Altova, provider of XML development tools, announced it has launched a certification program for its XMLSpy 2004 product.

To become an Altova Certified XMLSpy Engineer, candidates are required to pass one 50-question exam covering technologies like XML Schema 1.0, XPath 1.0 and SOAP 1.2, along with XMLSpy-specific skills. Detailed objectives can be found here.

The exam costs $95 and is currently available at Prometric testing centers in the U.S. and Canada. International testing opportunities are forthcoming, the company said.

Optional training for the title is available through Altova.
