5/26/2004 -- The Linux Professional Institute (LPI) recently announced that its LPI Level I exams (LPIC I) are now available in the following languages: French, Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese and German.

LPI is offering a 25 percent discount on these exams through July. To participate, candidates must use the code ''25beta'' when registering for the exams online via Prometric. Those who take the exams before July 31 will have the option to access the questions in English as well as the translated language and will be given the opportunity to provide feedback on the translation of each individual question.
