4/28/2004 -- Earlier this month Adobe announced several new certification options for creative professionals.

Adobe's certification program now allows Web, print and video professionals to earn specialized Adobe's Certified Expert (ACE) credentials by passing a combination of exams related to specific Adobe products, such as Acrobat, Photoshop and After Effects.

The company also announced an new ACE Creative Suite Master title, whereby candidates can certify their expertise in all seven Adobe products tested through the program. A new instructor title has also been made live.

In other Adobe certification news, the company also recently announced that its certification exams are now available through Pearson Vue testing centers. The exams remain available through Prometric.

Adobe certification exams are available worldwide for $150 (U.S.). Training is not required to earn an Adobe certification.
