Tivoli Retires Service Desk 6.0 Exams
1/31/2001 -- Tivoli, which recently sold its Service Desk product suite to Peregrine Systems, announced Monday that it will retire the suite's related certification exams.
As of February 15, the following Service Desk exams will be withdrawn from Prometric and IBM Learning Services testing centers:
- Tivoli Problem Management 6.0 Implementation (#696)
- Tivoli Asset Management 6.0 Implementation (#697)
- Tivoli Change Management 6.0 Implementation (#698)
Candidates who are currently certified in Service Desk version 5.2 or 6.0 will remain certified through December 31, 2001. No word on whether Peregrine will adopt the this certification as its own.
