Macromedia Launches New MX 2004 Exams

12/10/2003 -- Macromedia recently launched two new MX 2004 exams: Dreamweaver Developer and Flash Developer.

The exams are now live and available at Pearson Vue testing centers worldwide for $150 (U.S.), although pricing may vary by country.

According to Matthew Bertolami, Macromedia certification program manager, the earlier MX versions of these exams will be retired sometime in early 2004.

Bertolami also told CertCities.com that the company is working on a MX 2004 version of its Flash Designer certification, which may debut as early as March.

More information on the new MX 2004 certifications, as well as Macromedia's other titles, can be found here. -Becky Nagel

12/11/03: Anonymous says: Looks like Macromedia's taken a page out of Citrix's book by introducing "updated" certs every time they release a new version of their software with a few "features" tacked on. Does anyone give a damn anymore? If even the cert study guide industry can't keep up, why should the poor working stiff even bother?
1/2/04: Anonymous says: If you don't like 'em ... don't take 'em. Both of the previous posts show an attitude that most clients would rightly shy away from. Nothing worse than a bunch of whiners.
