The 221 was released in beta format in May and just recently went live.
"Citrix Education is announcing updates to the CCA certification exam to support Citrix MetaFrame XP Presentation Server, Feature Release 3," the company's Web site states. "Effective November 24, 2003 Citrix Exam 222, Citrix MetaFrame XP Presentation Server, FR3, Administration, will be available through Prometric testing centers worldwide...Candidates interested in taking the English version of exam 221 are strongly encouraged to schedule exam 221 as soon as possible."
According to Citrix's Web site, candidates have until Nov. 24 to "schedule" this exam. A company spokesperson told CertCities.com that the exam itself will be available through the end of the year as long as registration is made by the above date. The spokesperson also emphasized that no matter which version of the exam a candidate takes, the CCA title earned will remain valid.
Objectives for Exam 222, which covers functions and capabilities of Citrix MetaFrame XP Presentation Server Feature Release 3, will not be released until the new exam goes live, Citrix said.
