New CCA Exam Released


7/9/2003 -- According to Citrix's Web site, the company's latest Certified Administrator (CCA) exam is now live and available at Prometric testing centers worldwide.

More details of the new exam, titled Citrix MetaFrame XP FR2 Administrator (exam #221), can be found here, although detailed objectives have yet to be published. Prometric's site lists the price of the exam as $100 (US).

In May, a Citrix spokesperson told CertCities.com that 221 will permanently replace the current MetaFrame XP exam, 220 (click here for story); however, no mention of 220's retirement was made on Citrix's Web site by press time.

7/29/03: Mike says: Just try booking for the now ancient exam it replaces! Without any murmur, it seems that 220 is no more, so my first chance (31/7/03) turns out to be my last chance to take it!
