Apple Expands OS X Cert Program Internationally

1/8/2003 -- Apple quietly announced recently that its OS X certification exams are now available in select countries in Asia and Europe.

Previously, exams for the company's Apple Certified Systems Administrator (ACSA) and Technical Coordinator (ACTC) titles were only available in Canada and the U.S.

Apple didn't state on its Web site in which countries the exams are available; interested candidates must contact Prometric for locations and prices. The exams are offered only in English.

Apple launched its networking certification program in 2001. It is currently being updated for Mac OS X v. 10.2. More information about this program can be found here. - B.N.
