IBM Offering Free Exams at WebSphere Conference
10/16/2002 -- IBM announced recently that it will offer a number of free WebSphere certification exams at its upcoming WebSphere Technical Exchange conference, being held Nov. 11 through 14 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The exams are:
- Test 345: IBM WebSphere Studio Family of Products, V4.0.x (targeting junior developers)
- Test 157: IBM WebSphere Studio Application Developer for Windows, V4.0.3
- Test 158: IBM WebSphere Application Server, Single Server Ed. for Multiplatforms, V4.0
- Test 342: IBM WebSphere Application Server V4.0.1 for zOS and OS/390 Implementation
- Test 489: Administration for IBM WebSphere Application Server, Adv. Ed. V4.0
- Test 344: IBM WebSphere Portal for Multiplatforms V4.1 Implementation
- Test 211: IBM WebSphere Commerce, Bus. Ed. V5.4 Implementation
- Test 212: IBM WebSphere Commerce, Bus. Ed. V5.4 Customization
- Test 486: Object-Oriented Analysis and Design with UML
- Test 483: Enterprise Connectivity with UML
- Test 141: XML and Related Technologies
According to IBM, the exams will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis. The company did not state whether there would be a limit on the number of exams an individual could take.
