LPI Announces New Level I Betas


8/14/2002 -- The Linux Professional Institute (LPI) launched beta versions of its revised Level 1 exams this week.

Objectives for the betas can be found on LPI's Web site here. Registration is available worldwide through both Vue and Prometric. Prices for the betas were not given.

Final release dates for the new versions have not yet been announced, but the previous versions will be available at Vue testing centers until November 1.

Smith says: I have been studying for the LPIC1 and RHCE and I want to know whether there has been major revisions made such changing from RH 7.1 & Debian 2.2 as part of the LPIC1 or any other revisions that would make it better to wait on my tests or to go ahead on my current studies as any action in implementing the the beta versions soon
