Oracle Extends 9i Tuning Beta

6/12/2002 -- Oracle announced last week that it has extended the availability of its Oracle 9i Database: Performance Tuning beta exam until July 14. It was originally scheduled to close June 15.

Candidates can take the early version of this exam for a discounted price of $62.50 U.S. -- half what the live version will cost. Those who pass will receive credit toward Oracle's 9i Certified Database Administrator title.
