Cisco Adds MxU Specialty Cert
6/12/2002 -- Cisco Systems, which has already launched five new certifications in 2002, has just announced a sixth: Cisco MxU (multi-unit) Specialist.
Part of Cisco's Qualified Specialist line of certifications, the title is designed to certify the skills needed to "support a comprehensive Cisco end-to-end solution for MxU environments."
To become an MxU specialist, candidates must first hold a valid CCNA, then pass two exams: Cisco Building Broadband Service Manager (9E0-811) and Cisco Long Reach Ethernet (9E0-821).
MxU Specialists will be required to upgrade their titles every two years.
