Novell Announces New Benefits for CNEs
10/2/2000 -- Novell recently established new benefits for CNEs, including free LogicSource2 for NDS for those who completed their upgrade to NetWare 5 certification on or before Aug. 31, 2000.
Benefits for all CNEs include:
- Automatic notification of new patches, technical information documents and white papers via a list server subscription.
- Automatic membership to NetWare Users International (NUI), a worldwide community for Novell software users (www.novell.com/community/nui/).
- Techies.com job board exclusive to NetWare 5 CNEs.
- $100 discount on Novell's advanced technical training courses.
- Priority on the Novell technical support queue.
- CNE ID card.
- Six-month subscription to Novell's online lab (available in November 2000).
- Software Evaluation Library at cost ($45 per year).
- 40 percent off technical training videos.
- Access to quarterly Webcasts with NetWare's creator and chief scientist, Drew Major.
The above is in addition to the previously established CNE benefits, including:
- Access to CNE Net (www.cnenet.com).
- First two Web incidents free from technical support, then 50 percent off Web incidents.
- Free subscription to NetWare Connection magazine.
