Solaris 9 Betas Coming in June

5/15/2002 -- Sun Microsystems recently announced free beta versions of its upcoming Solaris 9 exams.

Candidates are being sought to take the early versions of the following Solaris exams during these dates:

Exam Name Beta Start - End Dates
Sun Certified System Administrator for the Solaris 9 OE, Part I June 10 - June 27
Sun Certified System Administrator for the Solaris 9 OE, Part II June 13 - July 2
Sun Certified Network Administrator for the Solaris 9 OE (Note: only those previously certified in Solaris will be allowed to take this beta) June 17 - July 9

The betas are free to all candidates. Passing any of the above exams "qualifies you for Solaris OE certification," Sun says.

To apply for the betas, fill out the form found on Sun's Web site, here. More information can be found about the betas here. - B.N.
