SAS Developing New Warehouse Architect Cert

4/24/2002 -- The SAS certification program recently announced that it will soon add a new certification title, the SAS Certified Warehouse Architect.

Details about the title have yet to be released, but the company is looking for subject matter experts to help the program finalize exam objectives. Those with a background as a warehouse architect can contribute by taking a 15-minute survey, located here (scroll down to "What's New").

In other SAS news, the company will be retiring its version 6 exams June 30. Although the exams will no longer be available after this date, those holding version 6 titles will remain certified, the company said.

According to SAS, there are currently 2,500 SAS certified professionals worldwide. For more information about SAS certification, click here. - B.N.
