Oracle Announces 9i Database Tuning Beta


4/24/2002 -- Oracle announced recently that it will offer a discounted beta version of its upcoming 9i Database Performance Tuning exam beginning May 1.

For $62.50 (US), candidates can take this prerelease version of the exam, which will be required to achieve Oracle's new 9i database administrator certification (for more information, click here).

According to Oracle's beta guidelines, those who pass will receive full credit toward the applicable certification.

Candidates interested in this beta (exam 1Z1-033) must register with Prometric by phone (no Web registrations accepted). The beta will be available worldwide through June 15.
