Microsoft .Net Exams Head into Beta Testing

At the end of this month, Microsoft plans to release two Visual Studio .NET-based exams: 70-306, Developing and Implementing Windows-based Applications with Visual Basic .NET and Visual Studio .NET, and 70-316, Developing and Implementing Windows-based Applications with Visual C# .NET and Visual Studio .NET. Both exams are core options for the new MCSD.NET and MCAD.NET certifications that were announced last month.
Exam 70-306, which goes into beta testing March 29 through April 5, will be numbered 71-306. Exam 70-316, in beta April 2 to 9, will be numbered 71-316. Microsoft plans to make both exams available in May this year.
