Does know of a good site to find reference material for the 70-218 test they are mentioning above? |

Dude, relax. Certs are like drugs. Once you start with one, you can't stop. The "wallet sized" card still won't add a shred of value to an MCSA cert. GROW UP!!! |

Does any have a good guess how much an A plus instructor earns or charges for classes? |

Hey guys, I have in my wallet, a MCP NT 4.0 card, MCP+I/MCSE NT 4.0 card, an MCSE Windows 2000 Early Achiever card, and a CCA card for Citrix Metaframe 1.8, and the only thing I got was I ran out of room in my wallet for important stuff. You'll never show the card to anyone anyway. It's Micro$osfts way of pushing the cert quicker. |

Hi Wayne, I teach in a Vo-Tech APlus,NetPlus,ServerPlus and LinuxPlus. I am getting pay around 34K plus benefits. This is around 16 dollars an hour. In 36-48 hours courses (short courses) the instructor get paid around 12-14 dollars an hour. |

I just passed the 218 exam this morning to earn the MCSA. I think it's a pretty lame cert, but as long as Microsoft is hyping it, and ignorance still abounds, I'm glad I got it. For example: I was turned down for a position as a technical instructor a couple of years ago. Why? The owners (who interviewed me) said that the other candidate had an MCPplusI and I didn't. This, when I had been an MCSE on NT 3.5 and 4.0, for several years! It's four more letters on your resume, and I'll bet you nobody in HR will ever know the difference. |
