IBM Announces Free Trial of Updated XML Developer Exam
11/28/2001 -- Last week IBM announced the release of its updated IBM Certified Developer - XML and Related Technologies exam. The new version, #141, replaces exam #140, which will retire on Jan. 31, 2002.
The exam certifies candidates skills using a variety of XML technologies, including XML Schema, XSLT and XPath. It's comprised of one exam (#141: XML and Related Technologies), which tests candidates' skills in the areas of architecture, information modeling, XML processing, XML rendering, testing and more.
Beginning Friday, the first 100 candidates that pass an online qualification exam can sign up to take #141 for free. Those candidates will receive vouchers, which must be used by Jan. 31, 2002.
