Apple Delays Launch of ACSA

11/14/2001 -- Apple announced on its Web site this week that the launch of its Apple Certified Systems Administrator title -- originally scheduled to debut in Sept. -- has been put off until "early 2002."

ACSA is the highest level of a two-tiered certification program the company announced earlier this year for OSX. It's lower-level counterpart, the Apple Certified Technical Coordinator (ACTC), was released in June.

No reason for the delay was given on the site, and Apple couldn't be reached for comment before press time.
