Cisco Launches New Exams


11/7/2001 -- Cisco announced via its Web site this week that it has released four new exams.

Two are brand-new exams for the company's Cisco Certified Internetwork Professional (CCIP) title: Building Cisco Metro Optical Networks (METRO 640-915) and Building Cisco Content Networking Solutions (CN 640-925).

The other two, Cisco IP Telephony (CIPT 9E0-402) and Cisco Voice Over Frame Relay, ATM, and IP (CVOICE 9E0-423), are updates of older versions of these exams. The tests count toward Cisco's IP Telephony and Voice Access Partner Specializations, respectively.

All are currently live, and available through Prometric and Vue testing centers. Each costs $125 (US).
