IBM Offers Free Exams

11/7/2001 -- IBM announced recently that it will be offering several new exams free during November and December.

The exams are:

Test 283, IBM VisualAge for Java, Professional Edition, V4.0
Test 487, IBM WebSphere Studio, Professional or Advanced Edition, V4.0
Test 488, IBM WebSphere Application Server, Advanced Single Server Edition for
Multiplatforms, V4.0
Test 489, Administration for IBM WebSphere Application Server, Advanced Edition, V4.0

The exams are part of a recently announced update for IBM's Visual Age and Web Sphere certification to version 4.0. IBM just announced it will be retiring the 3.5 versions of its Visual Age and WebSphere exams on Dec. 31.

The offer is open to candidates worldwide. To participate, candidates must first register with IBM, then pass a free online assessment test with a score of 75 percent or better. Those who pass will receive a voucher for the free exam.
