CompTIA Changing CDIA to CDIA+
10/17/2001 -- The Computer Technology Industry Association (CompTIA) announced recently that it will change the name of its Certified Document Imaging Architect (CDIA) to CDIA+. The change will be implemented in February 2002, when an updated version of the title's exam is expected to debut.
"With the launch of the new test, it made sense to rename the program and give it a new logo," said Carol Bowman, CDIA program manager. "The plus sign comes from CompTIA's naming convention."
The beta of the new exam will launch in November.
The CDIA has been around since 1995. For more information on this certification, click here. - B.N.
