Two NetWare 6 Exam Dates Announced
8/21/2001 -- Novell recently published details about two upcoming NetWare 6 certification exams on its Web site.
A training course for a new CNA exam -- eDirectory Administration on NetWare 6 -- will launch sometime in Q1 2002. According to Novell, this exam is a revision of the current CNA offering, NetWare 5.1 Administration.
On the CNE front, Novell says that an upgrade exam for those currently certified in NetWare 5 will launch before the end of the year.
Novell announced in June that beginning with NetWare 6, the CNE track will be streamlined by eliminating all electives: All CNEs will be required to pass the same seven exams. At the time of that announcement, it was expected that Novell would release all the new CNE exams before the end of this year.
