iGeneration's iCP Cert Merged into Prosoft's CIW
iGeneration's iCP Cert Merged into Prosoft's CIW

8/1/2001 -- iGeneration and ProsoftTraining.com announced today that they are merging their vendor-neutral Internet certification programs.

Beginning Jan. 1, 2002, all those certified as iGeneration Certified Professionals (iCPs) will become members of Prosoft's Certified Internet Webmasters (CIW) program.

Those currently certified as iCPs must register to transfer into the CIW program. According to an announcement about the merger, iCP certification holders will receive comparable certifications or credits in the CIW program when the transfer is complete.  iCP certification tests will remain available throughout 2001 so that current iCP candidates can complete any in-process training and certification.

For more information on the merger or to apply for a transfer, visit icp2ciw.com. -B.N.
