Nortel Offers Free Data IP Beta


6/27/2001 -- Nortel Networks has announced a free beta exam: Data IP Fundamentals (920-901).

The beta will be available through July 13. According to Nortel's Web site, candidates must register with the Nortel Networks Global Certification Program to participate. The beta will only be free to the first 50 participants; after that, a fee of $49 applies.

According to Nortel, this exam is the first in a series of "Fundamental" exams the company will be releasing. Other topics planned include voice, optical, wireless and eBusiness.
