MS Commerce Server Exam Planned for Sept. Beta
6/12/2001 -- Microsoft has announced another new exam, this time for Commerce Server 2000.
According to the company's Web site, 70-234 Designing and Implementing Solutions with Commerce Server 2000 is an MCSE elective option that is planned for beta testing in September.
The Commerce Server exam comes with a heavy prerequisite -- Microsoft recommends it only for those with working knowledge of the company's development tools (Visual Basic, COM+, ASP); database management systems (SQL Server 2000); and enterprise-level networking and operating systems architecture (Windows 2000, Active Directory, IIS, Network Load Balancing). The exam's objectives include being able to analyze and scope an e-commerce site's business requirements and a security infrastructure; develop a site design with a catalog structure, shopping cart and data warehouse; install and configure Commerce Server 2000; and design business analytics using Business Desk.
Microsoft beta exams are by invitation only. For more details on this exam, click here. -MCPMag.com
