Compaq Gives ASEs Second Chance To Recertify

6/6/2001 -- Compaq announced on its Web site that it has created a "Get Well Program" for Intel-focused ASEs who failed to renew their certification last month.

These ASEs, who were originally certified before May 18, 2000, had until May 1 of this year to meet their Continuing Certification Requirements (CCRs) -- passing CCR exam 901, 902 or beta CCR. While those candidates are now officially "suspended," Compaq will not "revoke" the certification if candidates take and pass ASE CCR Exam between now and July 1.

Full details on the program can be found here. For more information, contact the Compaq certification office at . -B.N.
