New Convergence Technologies Professional Exam Debuts, Discount for Retakes
3/28/2007 -- The Convergence Technologies Professional (CTP) certification, a Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) certification managed by VCampus Corporation (the new owner of Prosoft Training), announced earlier this month that a new 2007 version of the CTP exam has been released.
According to the CTP Web site, the exam covers "basic knowledge of convergence industry standards and protocols, infrastructure, signaling, telephony, Voice over IP (VoIP) and topology convergence."
The exam (CTP TT0-201) is now available worldwide at Pearson Vue and Prometric testing centers worldwide for $175 (U.S). It consists of 65 questions with a time limit of 90 minutes.
