IBM Unveils Advanced Electives for Notes, Domino Certs
4/12/2006 -- IBM recently announced the advanced elective exams for its suite of Lotus Notes and Domino 7 certifications.
According to the company, electives for the IBM Certified Advanced Application Developer track will be:
- LotusScript exam
- JavaScript exam
- Web Services exam
Those in the IBM Certified Advanced System Administrator track will have the following options:
- Managing Domino Web Servers exam
- Sametime 7.5
According to the program, the final names of the exams as well as the official exam numbers have yet to be determined. Most of the exams are expected to be released in the second half of 2006.
Those who've taken earlier versions of these exams may automatically be grandfathered into the advanced titles for the version 7 track.
Candidates must already have earned the related System Administrator or Application Developer certification to earn the Advanced designation through these exams. Those standard titles require passing three exams.
