4/17/2001 -- Microsoft's long-anticipated Windows NT 4.0 support exam went live today.

Exam 70-244, Supporting and Maintaining an NT Server 4.0 Network, is aimed at Win2K-qualified MCSEs who want to show expertise in maintaining legacy NT 4.0 networks. This new exam is the only live Windows NT exam for MCSEs -- Microsoft retired the rest earlier this year as part of a forced upgrade to its Windows 2000 track.

On April 14, Microsoft released the 70-229 SQL Server 2000 Design exam. The exam tests capabilities to design, optimize, and secure multi-user normalized SQL Server databases. This exam is an MCSE and MCSD elective, as well as an MCDBA core exam. For this exam's objectives, click here.
