Tracks Coming to Citrix Certs in March

1/26/2005 -- A few weeks after announcing a beta exam for a new Citrix Certified Enterprise Administrator (CCEA) track, Citrix has formally announced that its CCEA, Citrix Certified Administrator (CCA) and Citrix Certified Sales Professional (CCSP) titles will now follow a track structure.

Beginning March 1, these titles will have two separate track options:

  • MetaFrame Access Suite 3.0
  • MetaFrame XP Presentation Server

The company said it is switching to a new track format to recognize the different MetaFrame Access Suite versions. From now on, the titles "will be aligned closely with specific product platforms."

This is the first time the company has offered concurrent tracks for its Windows-based titles. It does offer a CCA title for Unix professionals.

According to the company, its hands-on Citrix Certified Integration Architect (CCIA) credential "is not affected at this time" by the change.
