1/12/2005 -- Zend recently announced a new promotion where anyone who takes the company's PHP Certification exam and fails it during the month of January can retake it for free.

Zend's certification exam (#200-100 ) costs $200 (U.S.) and can be taken at Pearson Vue testing centers worldwide. Passing it earns the title Zend Certified PHP Engineer.

The company launched its certification program in July.
